Chagall
This immersive exhibition brought the work of Marc Chagall to life at the Atelier des Lumières. Working from an existing artistic direction, I contributed my own creative vision to the project — enriching the base concept, adding new ideas and sequences, and completing existing material to reconstruct entire frescoes from Chagall's paintings.
Starting from the raw material of Chagall's original works, I focused on extending and reinterpreting the imagery to bring a distinct, personal touch to the piece while staying rooted in the artist's visual world.
The exhibition was later adapted for the Hall des Lumières in New York — a fitting continuation, echoing Chagall's own journey from Paris to New York. Because the venue's architecture differs significantly from the Atelier des Lumières, this wasn't a simple transposition: the existing creative content had to be reworked and reconceived to fit the space's own spatial logic and proportions.
