For this animated greeting card produced with Studio So Bam for client Atlas OPCO, I brought movement to illustrations by Julie Guillem, animating a flock of storks journeying across a series of seasonal landscapes — from a sun-drenched coastal bay to snow-capped mountains and blooming flower fields.
The birds' flight ties each scene together, evoking travel, the passing of the seasons, and the spirit of the new year.
The animation focuses on subtle, natural movement — flapping wings, shifting light, small details like a fox trotting through the snow or paragliders drifting over the peaks — bringing warmth and life to each frame while staying true to the soft, textured aesthetic of the original illustrations.
