POLE DANCE — The Origins
Created as part of a training program exploring new AI creation tools, this short film was a personal research project retracing the origins and history of pole dance. Both the writing and the making of the film relied entirely on emerging AI tools, from concept to final image.
Among the techniques used, motion capture was extracted from real pole dance footage and reworked to drive the film's movement, blending documentary-grounded gesture with a fully AI-generated visual world.
The result traces the discipline's evolution — from its physical, technical roots to its expression as a full-fledged art form — combining archival-inspired narration with a contemporary, generated aesthetic.
